Tell the UK Government: Stop Ignoring Women’s Pain

We don’t want painkillers.
We want progress.

Every day, millions of women live with fibromyalgia — a chronic pain condition that’s invisible, debilitating, and misunderstood. For years, we’ve been told to manage it. We’ve been prescribed pills with side effects instead of solutions.
We’ve been offered silence instead of science.
But something is missing — and we believe it’s hormonal.

Tell the UK Government: Stop Ignoring Women’s Pain

We don’t want painkillers.
We want progress.

We call on the UK Government and NHS to:

01
01
Fund research into hormonal causes of fibromyalgia, including progesterone.

02
02
Require hormone panel testing as part of fibromyalgia assessments.

04
04
Create a national fibromyalgia care framework rooted in science, compassion, and women’s voices.

05
05
Launch clinical trials for hormone-based treatment alternatives.

06
06
Require hormone panel testing as part of fibromyalgia assessments.

Tell the UK Government: Stop Ignoring Women’s Pain

We don’t want painkillers.
We want progress.

Many women — like me — experienced complete relief from fibromyalgia during pregnancy.  Why? Because during pregnancy, progesterone levels rise dramatically. After pregnancy or before periods, progesterone drops — and the pain returns. This isn’t just anecdotal. It’s biological. It’s time the government took women’s pain seriously and stopped ignoring our bodies.
