What is FibroVoice?

A Voice for the
Silenced

FibroVoice began with one woman’s discovery — that during her pregnancy, the pain she had lived with for years vanished. Not eased. Gone. And months later, it returned… just as her hormone levels dropped. That woman is me — Nancy Duffour. And like so many women across the UK and the world,I was told to “manag it,” “cope,” and “accept” a life of invisible suffering. But not anymore. FibroVoice is here to change the conversation around fibromyalgia. We’re connecting the dots between chronic pain, hormones, and hope — and we’re fighting for recognition, research, and reform.

Why Hormones Might Be the Missing Piece?

What if it’s not just fibromyalgia…
what if it’s hormonal imbalance?

Progesterone levels rise dramatically during pregnancy — and for many women, that’s when fibromyalgia symptoms mysteriously vanish. Coincidence? Or have we found a biological clue that doctors keep ignoring?
Here at FibroVoice,we’re not just raising awareness. We’re demanding answers.
We’re calling for research into hormonal links, trials for treatment alternatives, and better support for women living in daily pain.

Upcoming Protest: Silent Pain, Loud Voice March

Marching for the Millions Who Hurt in Silence

We’re planning a national protest to demand that the UK government fund hormonal fibromyalgia research, support new treatment options, and stop dismissing women’s pain.
