Meet the Voice Behind the Movement

WHO I AM ?

My Name is Nancy Duffour — and I’m Done Being Silent. customers.

I’ve lived with fibromyalgia for years.
The kind of pain that creeps into your legs, your joints, your muscles, and your spirit.
The kind of pain that’s invisible… so people question it. And doctors? They often don’t understand it. They call it “chronic,” give you pills, and send
you home. But something happened that changed everything. When I got pregnant, my fibromyalgia pain vanished completely.
For nine whole months, I lived free of the aching, burning, stabbing pain that had ruled my life for years. I could walk. I could sleep. I could breathe.
And then, two to three months after giving birth… the pain returned. Exactly when my hormone levels dropped. That wasn’t a coincidence. That was a clue. A clue the medical system ignored.

WHY I STARTED FIBROVOICE?

I Told Them My Truth,
They Told Me No.

I told the doctors what happened — that the pain stopped during pregnancy and returned after. That it gets worse every month around my period. That I believe hormones, especially progesterone, are a missing link in the fibromyalgia puzzle.
They told me: “We don’t treat leg pain with progesterone.” “We don’t have research to support that.” “Just manage it.” But I wasn’t asking to manage it. I was asking to be heard. So I created FibroVoice — not just as a blog, but as a movement. A protest. A place of healing. A platform to fight for:

Hormonal treatment research
And real recognition from the medical system
Alternative therapies for fibromyalgia
Compassionate care for women in pain
MY PROMISE TO YOU

This Isn’t Just About Me Anymore. It’s About All of Us.

If you’re reading this and you’ve been told it’s in your head —If your pain changes with your cycle — If pregnancy gave you relief, only for it to come storming back — You’re not imagining things. You’re not alone. And you are not crazy. I see you.
And through FibroVoice, the world will hear you too.
